I had this same problem on my x950h. Go into Settings > Date/Time and change the format to 24-hours and back to normal again
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I just purchased an 8k Sony Bravia and experienced this same issue. Yes - the resetting the date/time feature will turn the amber indicator light off. However, what this LED indicator really is for us to let the user know the status of the built-in MIC. Settings > System > LED Indicator > Voice detection status When you toggle on/off, it will either turn on the amber LED indicator or off. I noticed this when I decided to finally use the tv's Google Assistant yesterday. Hope this helps others!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. When the YELLOW light to the left of the SONY logo stays on when the TV is turned on, the only way to turn it off is go into Settings, Device Preferences, Date and Time, and then turn "Use 24-hour format" off/on and then back on/off. That will turn off the yellow light - for THIS use of the TV. However, when the TV is turned on again next time, the yellow light is on again. So, that process must be followed every single time. I recommend calling Sony Support and logging this issue, as they don't seem to feel it IS an issue as there aren't very many reports about it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is a continual problem/annoyance. Sony manual and online says it means a timer is set. But even if all timers/reminders, etc. are disabled and the led is turned off, it will come on. Changing anything in the time, such as 12-hr to 24hr will turn the light off for a week or two. Then it will come on again for no reason. Sony apparently doesn't have the desire or ability to fix this issue. It's a great TV, except for this flaw. We're currently left with either changing the time (12 to 24 and then back the next time), or black tape over the light.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I tried going to Sony with this Q, and they acted like they did not know what I was talking about. They kept referring me to the other light (Power Light) I solved the problem with a black dot over the light. Now on or off I don't see it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Turn on “OK GOOGLE” detection.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Orange (Amber light) is a bug in some models. I have Sony 75XZ8H and have same problem orange light popup without setting any timer. it will go away for some time if we do some changes in Date and time option, than it will come again. Regarding I spoke with Sony customer service, then they tried to resolve this issue with some changes in settings, but no use and they have known this problem. Final answer what they told it will be resolved with software update, I do not think this will be resolved with software issue. if it is software issue means all the same model tv should have this problem, then software update is the solution. it looks minor hardware problem, but it may not a problem for TV function. I love Sony TVs and have old Sony models 940E, 900A these are excellent and have been using for long time without any problems and popup lights like above.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It is because the OK Google Feature is turned on. Disable that and then it will turn off.
