• Yes, it is. The TV has a speaker input on the rear using standard -push-grab connectors. I had problems balancing the TV to the rest of my 5.2.2 system so went back to the regular center speaker. You mileage may vary.

• Yes, that's one of the main reasons I purchased this vs LG C9. There is an input lag (relative to a regular center channel speaker) but I have not noticed any lip sync issues in my setup (Yamaha TSR-7850, in 5.2.1 configuration).

• I use mine as a center channel. It is probably not as good as the sound from the speaker that I replaced, but it's fine and the clean look is a big advantage. In fact, I bought this specific model for that feature and I am not disappointed.
