When you turn the tv on you can have it always return to the home menu or the last input used (Hulu).

Unfortunately, you cannot change the TV startup behavior to automatically switch to a specific app if you prefer your TV to power on with the last watched application (except TV channels and external inputs). Depending on the TV settings, the Home screen will be displayed when the TV is turned on. If you change the following setting in [Power on behavior], you can change the screen that is displayed when the TV is turned on to Google TV home screen (Home screen) or Last used input (Last input). If you select [Last input], the next time the TV is turned on, the TV broadcast channel or external input such as HDMI that you were watching before turning off the TV will be displayed.
