Hi Tosomedegree, Thank you for inquiring about the XR-77A80J. The height of the TV stand when on a soundbar position is approximately 2 7/8 inch (72.3 mm) and the stand width will become approximately 40 7/8 (1,036 mm). The soundbar position mount should provide enough clearance for a soundbar that measures 2.83 inches (71.9 mm) in height underneath the TV. Regards, Jess
