• Yes you get a starter pack of batteries. Batteries last about 3 days continuous use or 6 days if you disconnect every night. Batteries cost about 25 cent each

• Hi Dan! Thank you for your great question! Each Sony CRE-C10 OTC hearing aid purchase includes 1 pack of 6 size 10 batteries. When it's time to replenish your supply, hearing aid batteries can be purchased at electronics retailers, hearing aid speciality stores, and online. Regardless of the brand, the hearing aid battery packaging will always have yellow on it. Regards, Erin

• There are two models. One uses #10 air batteries. The other uses a rechargeable battery. Each does include an initial battery. The air batteries seem to last 3 to 4 days for me.
