• The basic differences between the 1.0 and 2.0 models are the color, the light bar on the 2.0 model and better battery life for the 2.0 model.

• On the outside yes they may appear to be that same..... on the inside no....It's my understanding that MS corrected a design flaw that was causing the earlier versions of the controller to fail prematurely

• Light in the touch pad. Better stick durability too from what i can tell. Otherwise the same controller
