Q: QuestionWhy is called a constant aperture lens when the photo of the lens shows a range of FStops? Confused?

The SEL2470GM2 lens is marked F2.8 constant-aperture because it can stay constant at its maximum aperture, which is at F2.8 on all focal lengths available on this lens. In comparison, a non-constant lens, like the SEL100400GM, will change aperture whenever you change the focal length.
