You do not need a 4K TV or DVD to play these videos. Even if you shoot at 4K its great for post editing. You can later convert to 1080p or 720p on your PC.

Buy an anti-static UV lens, Then buy the Mennon DV-s 16:9 lens hood which comes with its own cover. The will keep sunlight and rain off your UV lens. Yes, the lens hood screws nicely onto the double-threaded UV filter, and the snug-down ring maintains proper alignment.
