“Hello I’m worried about the 10x optical zoom. If I want to record full quality 4K videos in pretty clear clarity how far can I expect to be able to reach? 100 yards? 1000 yards? If I’m filming wildlife at 500 yards how will it look?”

We are unable to give a a distance exact distance in yards. Our only recommendation when shooting 4K with this camera is to make sure to stick to the optical focal length which is 29.8-298.0 mm and not shoot digital zoom. The sensor is 1/2.3 type (7.76 mm). There are third party sites that may help you figure out the distance based on the sensor and the focal lengths provided.
