“Voltage compatibility between batteries?? I have a new Sony HDR-TD10E 3D camcorder with an NP-FV70 battery rated at 6.8 volts. I have noticed that some other batteries are rated at 8.4v. such as the NP-FV100. Is this still compatible with the camera?”

The Supplied battery with the Sony HDRTD10 3D Camcorder is NP-FV70. However, you can also use NP-FV50 and NP-FV100 Battery packs with this Camcorder.
