Yes it does but stereo sound only comes out when ALL sound is exported to headset not just chat audio. Chat audio via headphones will always be mono like the headphones Sony sends with the console, unless you choose export all sound to headphones

Yes. The controller has a 3.5mm headphone jack built-in. It works great with gaming and non-gaming headphone sets. It works great. They work with noise cancelling headphones as well.
