Do you need PlayStation plus to play on the portal? null

Hi Aaron, No you do not need PS+ to play on the portal, but you will need PS+ if you want to play online with friends. Without PS+ you can just play by yourself from the physical disc inside your Portal. With that said, PS+ has several different options and the cheapest one is less than $10 per month and you can stream other games from PS+, worth looking into.
