Stick to the more kind like games. Look up games that suited for children's age,Marvel Pinball, Racted and clank, race car games, Minecraft, Marvel Lego adventure games. These are a good start, google some games and read some reviews, then go to YouTube and view thaw games that you're that peg your interest.

Take a look at the games that have been part of the program in the past, and that should give you an idea. Personally, I wouldn't buy a PS4 for a child at all, since so many of the games are rated M, especially the ones people talk about the most. If I were a mom, I'd get Nintendo, and even then I'd screen which games I let the kid pick out. With PS4, you really have to keep a close eye on it. IMO, PS4 isn't a console meant for kids. It's meant for an adult audience. So if you let a child play, you need to be exceptionally aware of what they're playing. (Online multiplayer, which is also what the PS Plus subscription is for, can also put the kid into situations where they're interacting with very crass and rude adults who will not temper their language or behavior for children, so that's something to be aware of as well.) Honestly, I'm having a hard time even thinking of PS4 games that I'd consider kid-friendly (aside from Lego, which seems a bit young). As an adult, I buy games without looking at ratings, but looking at my collection of games chosen based on what I've heard is good and what sounded interesting, only like 5% are rated less than M. Although there are probably more if you look on the digital store and thoroughly weed through. Trine is a good game for everyone, for example.
I would recommend:
