You don’t need to buy anything extra just like the over ear PlayStation headphones these come with a USB black little square that you plug into the back of your PlayStation or whatever you decide the older PlayStation you can plug them into the front. So the answer is it comes with a USB black square that you can plug into your PlayStation and you will have to plug the box (the headphones sit in like air pods) into the actual front of the hook ups USB-C to update them when fresh out the box.
