Hi Annie, Thank you for purchasing our SRS-XB23. We're sorry you've been running into difficulty. The XB23 can skip to the next song by pressing the “Play/Pause” button twice quickly. It will play the previous track by pressing the same button 3 times quickly during playback. If your Bluetooth device support the AVRCP (Audio Video Remote Control Profile), you can operate it by the speaker via BLUETOOTH connection.
