“Can you charge this speaker while it's on and in use? I've had some older XB series speakers that could only charge while they were off which meant if they died during a party, you were out of luck.”

yes you can i just did it Saturday stayed on all night plugged in

Hi DoubleA, Thank you for your interest in the SRSXB43. Yes, you can keep the party going! No need to stop it to charge the speaker. A speaker that is in use can be charged if it is connected to an AC outlet via the AC adaptor (supplied). In this case, it may take longer to charge the built-in battery compared to when the speaker is turned off depending on the conditions of use. Therefore, it is recommended to turn off the speaker when charging. Hope this helps! -Sam
