Hi guy, Thank you for your interest in the STRDH590. Unfortunately, this unit doesn't have a speaker A/B switch function. However, there are other options to consider: I suggest checking out either the STRDH190 or the STRDH1080 in order to get different audio zones. -Sam

I Presume we are talking Speakers A/B switching, In my case I utilized Switch B to act as FH (Front High) when utilized with Center as well as SR(Surround Right), and SL (Surround Left), you get great sound movement and frontal range, with the 2 surround Rear Left and Right speakers. Press the speakers button once for current mode, twice for B and Three for both A/B and 4th for off. A is usually on by default! If you choose none for your surround settings meaning you have subs possibly, and 5 point speaker surround. Leaving you the B/High Left and Right connection to wire 2 speakers to another part of home or to the back porch and get stereo sound when you press the Speakers button to turn on both A/B, there is a light telling which setting you are in on first press.
