“Hi! I bought a new Sony 4K Ultra HD player. When watching the new Mulan movie in the 4K Ultra disc, it freezes in several places. I don't have freezing problems with others. My 2nd Mulan disc did the same thing. Is it the disc or something else?”

Mine freezes with 4K discs that are usually over two hours. Considering taking this back since I have the Product replacement plan.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have read a few reviews that claim freezing issues with Sony DVD players. I have had at least 5 Sony DVD players with no freezing issues. It could be the player or it could be the disc. Are you able to try the disc on another player ? Does your Sony Freeze with other discs ? Have you updated the players software ? All things to consider.
