“My current DVD player is a Bose sound system hook-up with a HD Samsung tv. Will this player have to replace that? I have a Roku for streaming. This was a gift. Suggestions please.”

If you happen to have another HDMI input on your tv, you would not need to replace your current Bose Dvd player. This Blu ray player can replace your Roku as it streams Netfilx, etc. the same as a Roku does.
