“Before i make a purchase i need to know if this blue ray can play MP4 videos from a USB drive? it says in the description that it supports MP4 but i guess that would be the case if it played from a DVD. Also, will it play AVi video files from a USB?”

• Yes,this player will play mp3, mp4 and mkv movie and music files from a usb. I do it all the time. It will also play a avi. file from a xvid container.
