• You need a pre-amp (>$20) and yes, speakers. If your speakers are powered, that's it. If your speakers aren't powered (meaning they don't recharge or plug into a wall) then you configure as so: Turntable>preamp>amplifier>speakers. If you don't have powered speakers and don't know what ohms law is, BUY powered speakers and save yourself the headache-your research hasn't hit the audiophile realm therefore powered speakers will provide perfect sound quality for your application.
