“Have ironed out early problems. Have downloaded 2 LP albums and burned to a CD. But tracks aren't separating properly. What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance.”

You have to use the included software (or other software) to insert track markers when you convert a complete LP album. Until you do that you have one file with all the songs in it.
