You can purchase music on Amazon's digital store, download it to your PC or Mac, then transfer it to your NWA-45 MP3 player. It's really easy to do actually. If you have CD's simply download Sony Music Center, open the app and rip them, then transfer your music to your device. Hope this helps, this is by far the best MP3 player I've ever had.
