The main issue I have faced is the touch controls become fritzy and unpredictable in cold weather like pausing/skipping tracks unexpectedly (and this was outside at about 5 C). It could be there is a batch that is not working properly but I haven't gotten a replacement yet so can't verify that. One workaround is to use the cable during cold weather since this deactivates the touch controls but then you lose the advantage of having touch controls! I am hoping this is a bad batch instead of general design issue since it makes them nearly unusable for outside commute (without a wire). This issue has come up in various forums. Sony, please advise on whether there will be a fix for this or if this is due to a bad batch.
