California requires manufactures to notify consumers of any product that contains chemicals that are known carcinogens. It is also known as the safe drinking water and toxic enforcement act of 1986. In the case of the headphones it could be the battery that gives the Prop 65 warning.

They want to put a Prop 65 warning on coffee for Pete's sake! Disregard it and enjoy your headphones. Buy them from Best Buy anyway, you are already here.
