• The first answer is wrong. Yes, the noise cancelling works with the wire also (not just Bluetooth), However the up and down volume controls on the right side do not work when wired. But since you are wired, you can control volume by the device you are tethered to. Cupping the right ear to hear ambient sound still works when not on Bluetooth though.

• Yes, you can. It comes with it's very own 3.5 to 3.5 audio jack that connects directly into the headphone. HOWEVER, if you use this option, there will be NO noise canceling as that is Bluetooth function ONLY.
