Q: QuestionI bought Sony headphones a d son in law has a Samsung TV with optical audio output. And a soundbar? Can you hook the earphones to the audio optical output to get sound. Is there a splitter that you can connect soundbar and earphones?

Q: QuestionI wear over the ear hearing aids so their microphones are behind me ear outside my ear canal. Will these headphones be safe to wear and not cause feedback or damage my hearing aids?

• A:Answer To my knowledge, the only way to charge the headphones is through a home electrical outlet and a mini-USB cable to the headphones. You can attach an audio cord directly to audio port of your iPad mini (like old fashioned headphones), but that is not for charging. That’s nice to have if your headphone battery is dead, making Bluetooth connection inoperable...you can use these just like plain old corded headphones too. Hope that helps.
