A:AnswerIdk about doing it officially. I don't think sony supports that at all. But I do know unofficialy you can. You get some Bose replacement ear cups that supposedly fit perfectly, and there is couple other company's that make ear pads that fit.

Just google Sony Wh1000xm2 ear pads and you'll see a bunch of videos and forums with links to them.
All in all its a Diy project and you're going to have to do them yourself and unscrew some things. But it's fairly easy to do. You Dont need to be skilled to do it.
A:AnswerSorry for answering a bit late, but if you don't want to buy an extra pair of headphones for gaming you can pick up a headphone mic like the modmic or something similar to that. Either that, or you can buy something like the blue snowball.
A:AnswerI don't think so. I bought these headphones listened to couple cheap mp3 songs and watched some videos on YouTube then went straight to getting Hi Res Certified 24bit flac songs and my sony xperia xz premium confirmed they were certified Hi Res by putting the Yellow HR sign by the songs. And I listened to them through the high quality blue tooth option and the cable making the headphones wired. And the sound was bliss and golden. The sound was so distinctively high quality and full, rich, clear crisp, you could hear all the suttleties of the guitars and Bass and kick drum. I was able to hear even the metal on the kick drum and the vibration of the bass moving and I mean Orchestral bass not digital bass. I could hear the fret movement and accidental thus on the guitar where the palm rests. It's just unbelievable. This can't be reproduced on regular headphones what I'm talking about you just have to experience it. So to answer your question I don't think you have to wait to get them aged to hear the best sound. They sound very warm very bright and you can hear everydetail full sound. But I could be wrong and they might sound even better in 6 months to s year. My phone LDAC and 24bit audio support and Hi Res support and sense engine. I use the stock music player provided by Sony on the phone.
A:AnswerDepends on what state you live in. For example, New York taxes are 8%, so to find out the total cost in New York multiply 349.99 x 1.08% = $377.99. If taxes where you live are 6%, multiply the price by 1.06 ect. Hope this helps! =)
A:AnswerI just got back from a flight to Honduras I wear reader glasses and watched two movies in a row so had them on for approximately four hours. I had no discomfort they were very comfortable the cushion is thick enough to not press the earpiece from the glasses into your head
A:AnswerIf by 3D, you mean surround sound, then no. These have two speakers. They do have a virtual room dsp effect that can be enabled when LDAC is turned off (SBC only)
A:AnswerI've had both the original 1000X and the M2s, and I didn't have an issue with either band cracking. To be fair, however, I am usually careful with my things. Regardless, they feel sturdy and have yet to even show a sign of damage.
