Couldn't get em to stop either...try the Sennheiser brand 170 model isn't too expensive and is as quiet as a mouse! Only downside is the ear pieces/cups are FLAT so they don't actually cup your ears...ie you can hear them if the person wearing them cranks up the volume and they may move on your head if you try to do aerobics with em on :)

If that don't work then you have to much electric interference in the room and it most likely won't work for you. You might have to go with head phones with a 2.4 or higher megahertz to receive better signal quality.
