Hi Corylove, Thanks for reaching out about the wattage of the SRSXG500. We do not disclose wattage and here is why. Over the years we have seen posting such numbers results in a spec contest. Specs, and yes even watts can be measured in different ways. For example, receivers take a look at the wattage, then see a number of speakers driven, and distortion rates. All of which vary greatly. Also, watts do not tell you how efficient the drivers are, or any of the components that help the speaker sound great. Thus, telling an incomplete story. Instead, we strive to make the best sounding speaker, that is rugged, water & dustproof, and has long battery life. All of the things our customers have told us really matter to them.
