“I set my speaker to only charge to 90% to save its battery. Is it bad for the speaker/ battery to leave it plugged in all the time? It’s mostly at the house so I’ve been leaving it on the charger.”

Leaving it plugged in wont hurt it as it performs a hare better with ac power than its battery. From what i researched.
