This, however, does not indicate a malfunction. • If the sound becomes low while in use, follow the procedure below. 1. Turn off the speaker. 2. Charge the built-in battery sufficiently. By downloading the Sony Music Center app, you will find all sorts of tools to fine-tune the speaker using the built-in EQ and maximize the volume to ensure optimal listening experience. To get the most out of the volume, turn up the volume of the speaker and the connected device. The maximum sound volume for playing music depends on whether the speaker is running on power from the connected AC outlet or from the rechargeable built-in battery.
