I would actually grab these headphones, they are very comfortable, I don't like the in ear headphones because they just fall out or make my ear uncomfortable, you can also try the type of headphones that have the around ear piece and the piece that goes in the ear just hovers or sits but doesn't put much pressure. I would think though the most comfortable ones would be over the ear like these Sony, they are cheap and the swivel piece makes them conform better.

the Sony - ZX Series On-Ear Headphones - Black goes over your ears and the top strap is adjustable. See if they can let you try a sample set on to make sure.

These are pretty comfortable! I really like in ear headphones for traveling & working out. These were really nice in the car & our kids use them all the time with no complaints.

Many ear buds put pressure on your ear canal and this could be the problem. Some come with different size silicone adapters and smaller ear pieces might help this. On ear or over the ear phones could solve this by not inserting into the ear at all. Also be aware of the volume level, "live concert" levels could damage your hearing, which is why I bring ear plugs to concerts, if it gets too loud I can always pop them in and reduce the volume that way. If it hurts to listen it's too loud.

The Sony headphones are very comfortable and easy to carry. You might want to turn the volume down a bit, also.

I would first look to make sure you do not have them on too tight. I would then make sure you are not listening to them too loud. I find them one of the best headphone I ever used!

I use these instead of in ear headphones because I wasn't able to adjust the volume with in ear to a comfortable level. These work fine.

It deffinetly depends on that the issue is. Because it could be a number of things. U say in ear headphones give u headaches. That could be cause the buds are too big for your ear canals and putting pressure on then witch may cause ear pain or headaches etc. so maybe a pair of over the ear headphones may be a possible solution to your problem. I feel as though they are much more comfortable as they normally have soft ear padding.
