• A:Answer I personally have not seen any reported specs to your question. At the moment I have speakers that weigh 21 pounds a piece. They seem like they could easily hold more..I would only be concerned if I was using a very heavy speaker that had a width wider than the bottom support plate. Tipping would be easy

• A:Answer You would just place your speakers on top of the stand. If one was concerned about tipping they could buy some small 3M Velcro strips and stick them to the bottom of speakers and the top of stands. I do not use this method though.
