“Hello, I recently purchased this laptop and I was wondering if the laptop is supposed to make a tiny amount of noise? I put my ear to the laptop and I hear a little bit of a "rrrrrrrr" it's not incredibly loud, but it is noticeable when the room is quiet.”

I sometimes hear a fan running from time to time. It's very faint, but I can hear it when there's silence in the room. It only stays on for a very short time. Perhaps this is what you're hearing.
