Great all round laptop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I absolutely love the look of this laptop. A premium machined body in a beautiful "dark ash" color with just enough gold bling to make it look elegant and different. But it really is about performance. Cold startup in about 8 seconds and you are ready to go. That SSD is a huge step up from the hard drive on my previous machine and the face recognition logs you right in. I have to sign contracts from time to time and the touch screen and windows ink make it a breeze signing straight onto the screen. The tablet mode simplifies that task as well as I can fold it over and sign as if it were a piece of paper. A number of reviews have questioned the 2 in 1 capability of a 15" machine as they felt it was too large for this functionality. I can tell you that I have used tablet mode on a number of occasions and find it very convenient. Yes, the machine is heavier than a lightweight tablet but I rest it on my lap and the touch screen makes it a great feature for me. I have no regrets choosing a 15" machine over its smaller brother. The extra screen real estate is well worth it and the battery lasts through the day with my on and off usage. The Spectre also packs all the ports I need for peripherals. The only annoyance I have is that the touch pad is extremely sensitive and it often selects a link on a web page when I am simply trying to scroll down the page. I am very happy with the keyboard, though, and love the number pad which my old machine lacked. The speakers are great (I understand there are 4 on the machine) for a laptop of this size and I find them clear and quite loud when turned up. All in all I am very happy with this purchase.

Best Investment for Business
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.VERY Quick startup. Easy security options and wide variety of sign-in methods. touch screen is simple and accurate. Perfect combo of full function tablet and laptop. Battery lasts a long time. Color and graphics are great for photo editing. Durable. Came with nice case/ sleeve. Looks stylish and professional. Touch pad is responsive to light touch. (no clicking/ pressing needed) Sound is good quality for conferencing. One of the best computers I have owned for personal and business use. I don't do a lot of "gaming", but I would imagine it would work well for those too with the quality of graphics and speed it has. This computer was a quick, walk in, need it now purchase. I use my laptop daily and travel with it often. The staff member who answered my questions and quickly led me to this computer is a huge asset to the store. I gave him 7 minutes to help me find one before my next meeting and I am glad I did. I only wish the keyboard lit up and it had an extra USB port. Get an multi-port adapter to run more than one plug in device. (really not a big deal) i have had mine about 6 months and it has been worth every penny!

MY BEST LAPTOP EVER!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was skeptical about spending $1600 on a laptop but I'm glad I did end up with this one. I've had this laptop for a week now and I absolutely love it! The display screen is unbelievable and the speed is super fast. The overall look and feel is great. I didn't think I would use the tablet mode much but I do, its really light especially for a 15.6 inch laptop. If I had to pick something negative I guess I would say the battery life, I thought I read in the specs it said about 12 hours and I only get about 5, that being said I do like to keep the screen pretty bright and use the backlit keyboard a lot. I would definitely recommend this laptop to anyone.

Excellent Laptop -overall - 15inch, Steady, Slim
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this HP Spectre laptop 15 inch after using macbook for 5 years. -Build quality same as Macbook level -Excellent Keyboard - on par with macbook -4K Screen is awesome( touch) - better than macbook -touchpad - little lower than macbook. But once you get used to it, it just becomes new norm -Little heavier than 15 inch macbook pro 2018 model -Ports : SD Card Reader, Thunderbolt 3, USB-C 3.1, USB-A 3.0, - Better than macbook pro -HDMI Port, 3.5MM Audio Jack, -Volume Switch Up/down, Finger print Sensor, Windows Hello(IR Camera) - better than mac -Numeric keyboard - not a great option on laptop. - -Windows 10 Home ( i wish it can run mac, but it runs windows great). Certainly for price, performance, i7-8550, 16gb, 512gb nvmePCI SSD, 4k screen makes it awesome purchase for price with black friday sale.

Good laptop, not so much as a tablet
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a good laptop and is convertible. It has a touchscreen which is responsive and handy. I opted for the 15 inch, since I knew I'd use it mostly as a laptop on a desk. I'm surprised at how often I use the touchscreen in this way, working more efficiently. The big downside is that it is very heavy, almost 5 lbs. It's unwieldy to use as a tablet that you might want to carry around in that way. I also use it to watch some entertainment video, and it's convertible form makes that very convenient if I'm not at my desk (on the couch, lying on a bed, etc). The resolution is good. The speakers are good (for a computer), although I prefer to use wireless headphones a lot for audio. I'm happy with the battery life. If you want more tablet out of the device, go for the 13 inch, which is much lighter an easier to handle. For not that much more $$ I wanted the extra memory and the graphics card that is offered in the 15 inch.

Value for money
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This product is everything one wants from 3-4 PCs combined. It's fast, it's 2-in-1, it has graphics, it has face sign in, it has a fingerprint reader, USB type A and Type C, HDMI, card reader, volume button, touch screen 4K, and at last, an amazing metallic finish which makes you fall in love with it's looks. The battery life is so amazing that I sometimes forget to carry my charger and it lasts for the whole day. The Bluetooth connectivity is quick, WiFi speeds are up to the mark, and its so smooth to operate. The only downside is the lack of windows precision drivers which makes the touchpad experience not so good. But hey, you have a touchscreen to compensate for it!!

Love this
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was in the fence on this vs the MacBook. But price is an issue, so I went with this PC and $500 less than the regular price was too good a deal to pass. That and this is a top line unit. I7, 16G and 512ssd, awesome. Love the touchscreen and it was nice that the pencil came with it. HP went premium with this and the black and copper finish is a nice touch, and aesthetically pleasing. Full KB with number pad, needed for my uses. My only complaint, but I won’t ding then is the lack of an optical drive. Would have been nice to have a blu-Ray drive, but not necessary.

Fantastic high end laptop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've owned this laptop for about a month now, and it hasn't let me down yet. The 4k screen is simply beautiful, it's fast, it's powerful, and it's so versatile. It's not a gaming machine, but the dedicated graphics card allows it to run most of my games fairly well. The pros: - 4k screen looks incredible - Comes with a pen and leather carrying pouch out of the box - Very fast and reliable - 10 key. Too many laptops don't have it, and I use it almost more than the letter keys The cons: - It's got a dedicated graphics card and it gets hot, fast. - It also gets hot while charging - The pen it comes with is sub par, but definitely better than no pen at all

A Year and a Half and Still Loving It!!
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This has been an excellent laptop to me. I purchased it in May of 2018 with an i7 Processor. My only regret is not upgrading the video card to Ryzen, but I don't do a whole lot that requires the graphics and the screen still looks excellent regardless. I don't find myself using the 2-in-1 feature as much as I had hoped, and I believe that this can be attributed to the larger screen size making it a bit inconvenient to use as a tablet. However, for every use I have as a real estate agent for this computer (Internet, Office Programs, Video Editing, Showing Homes to Clients Online, and much more) I find myself enjoying this laptop each day I use it, even while writing this review! :o The speed and battery life both seem to be keeping up as if it is brand new still, and the speakers are still excellent and plenty loud enough. The touch screen proves to be quite useful as well. My biggest complaint, as you've probably read elsewhere, has to be the touchpad. It just doesn't seem to be as friendly as other touchpads I've used before, and I find myself fighting with it at times where I end up resorting to using the touchscreen instead. I highly recommend this laptop though, as a mouse can fix the only negative I see for this speedy, sleek, long-lasting beast.

LOVE IT! GOT TO HAVE IT!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's beautiful-love that it doesn't look like every other laptop! Totally up to date with all technology, battery lasts all day, pen and lap top case included! Get a Bluetooth mouse so you don't loose one of your usb connections. I miss the DVD tray so have to have an external,,, wish it had more usb connections, but I'm moving into the next century!!!

Excellent Computer
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this for my wife and he delivers on every level. Screen is unbelievable. The speed is mind blowing. The pen is a nice accessory for the touch screen and the fact that it can be folded into a tablet is great. So much more for the price than you get with a mac with the same specs.

Fast, versatile, & beautiful
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This laptop is a much needed upgrade from our current 5yr old model. Solidly built, and impressive looking, this laptop is fun to use and works well for every memeber of the family. It’s a bit pricey, but the graphics, speed, display, and aesthetic are all top notch compared to even more expensive convertible laptops.

Fantastic Powerful Laptop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a very powerful windows laptop with tons and memory and CPU to run many simultaneous large applications. The SSD is pretty large at 1/2 Tb, and very very fast. Boot time is about 20 seconds. The screen looks great, and the touchscreen works very well with or without the stylus.
