You have to have internet to process the transaction, but this device uses blue tooth or a direct connect to the device. You can set it to offline processing and then batch them when you have internet, but may get stiffed if you do it that way

Yes, you have to have internet to accept payments with the Contactless and Chip Reader as our offline mode will not read chip cards. However; if you do have the magstripe reader with you, you can use offline mode to still capture credit card transactions. Do know that in offline mode we cannot verify the validity of the credit card used for payment so as the payment(s) upload there may be some declined transactions.

To process payments you need a connection to the internet through your phone. Actually to even get the app to work you need internet access. The device will connect, but that's about it if you don't have internet access.

Internet is not required. You just need an outlet to plug this into then your good to go
