• It is a physical disc. You put it in, it downloads data. (Smaller amount than if you were to buy game digitally). Then there is also a day 1 patch download to fix bugs.

• No, the disc has all the installation files and as always, needs to download additional files for updates. It's a PS5 disc game, just like the rest of them.
