I spoke to a Bestbuy digital download division person on the phone last night and he said they haven’t gotten the codes from Bathesda/Xbox yet so they can’t email them until then. He also said that they should be emailed out when the early access begins today at 8 PM ET. Probably the last time I order a digital game through Bestbuy if they’re going to be that late on this stuff. You can download it through the Xbox app but hopefully we all get our codes to play early asap!

Agreed I am frustrated as well everyone else is playing and we can't because we're waiting on a code

I did want to give you a heads-up that if you are playing on console, you can use the Xbox app, search for Starfield, and as long as you have the app tied to your console you will have the option to "download to console". This is what I did a few days ago, and thank goodness, because I have rural internet that taps out at 25mb download. Now if Best Buy would send out our codes like they are supposed to do, I can launch into the Starfield at midnight!
