You need a clear view of the sky. You have to mount it on the top of your trailer or on a pole on the ground when you are not driving. Also make sure there are no tress in close vicinity.

Please try again later.I don’t believe that it will fit on the dashboard and especially if you want to continue using it, may not get a full view of the sky from the dashboard. So my recommendation would be to mount it outside on top. And if you have a facebook account join a Starlink group they have a lot of information and good advice.
