“The Roku stick will not fit in the space by the HDMI outlet on TV. I noticed that an adapter is available for free but you have to enter a code (that you get when device is installed/activated) but I can’t plug in device without adapter.”

• Just call Roku customer service and give them the SN on the device and they will send you the HDMI extender

• Mine plugged in without the adapter. I had to use the adapter with another TV. Get the adapter and it will work great. Maybe they even have them at BestBuy.
