Does this mount work with GoPro MAX? null

I own a Gopro Fusion, a 6 and an 8, it works on all of those, the MAX has a mount built in to the camera the same as the 8, which folds into the bottom of the camera. It's a standard mount for Gopro. You shouldn't have any problem.
