Why not just emulate? null

because not everyone knows how to or has a powerful enough computer to do that, and they modified super Mario galaxy to work with touchscreen and the traditional controller

Cause not everyone has access to a decent computer for emulation and because some people like playing games on hardware made for the game and not a keyboard and Bluetooth controller. That and it’s a fine collector’s piece
