• They are all on the cartridge, no downloads necessary unless you get the digital version.

• Yes!, they are all in one copy. watch the nintendo youtubers they get items early so they can show you.

• Since it's a Nintendo published game and the entire package is under 5gb according to Nintendo's site for the digital version, I would say it is very likely that all games are on the cartridge.
