I was in the same boat. However, I have been using a stock tracker app (search iphone/android app store under "i4u". It sends notifications for all stock availability, including pre-orders. Since Target, Walmart, and Gamestop haven't released their pre-orders yet, I suggest downloading this app and enabling notifications for the SNES mini. It will let you know if/when they release their pre-orders. Good luck!
