A:AnswerThere may be quite a line in the morning up at customer service depending on how many of these are left to be ticketed for the customers lined up outside, but picking it up otherwise is quite simple, just go up to customer service and they will take care of you. The only line you would have to wait in is if there's one at customer service but maybe 30mins to an hour after the store opens there shouldn't be much of a line at all. Your preorder will be put off to the side most likely with your name tagged on it, they are to not sell that item since you have already put money down or paid for it in full, that is claimed as yours. :)
A:AnswerThere will be SNES Classics that big box stores will get just like with NES Classics, but I would brace myself to never see them in stock, again like the NES Classics. On the bright side, whenever the N64 Classic inevitably comes out, scalpers will likely lower their price for the SNES Classics that they cheated their way into getting to at least near the original $80 price if you just really really really want one and don't mind rewarding scalper behavior.
A:AnswerI know. I lodged a huge complaint but no ustiner service rep in ANY department was even aware they had been available yet... I was told by a super gamer friend that when they became available they were listed as some obscure name like "Universal SN Entertainment System" or something and then shortly after listed it as the original listing. Very disappointed!
A:AnswerWhen it goes live on the website and says "Pre-Order" instead of "Coming Soon" Best Buy, like any retailer, will not post a date/time as it would crash their site. The pre-orders will go live at any moment, its all up to Best Buy. But remember Best Buy and all retailers only have a certain amount available, they are told how many they can offer by Nintendo.
A:AnswerYes, same thing happened to me but I would have been willing to pick it up; but, the truth is you wouldn't have been able to get one outside of the 250 miles anyway; the truth is is that their server probably only searches within a 250 mile radius to no avail.
A:AnswerYou can't. They previously did have the option available, but then silently disabled it without telling anyone. SNES was made available this morning and I was sent no alerts. Scalpers win again. Thanks for nothing, Best Buy!
A:AnswerI'm sorry but unless you pre order an item *before* it is released, there is no way to do that which you describe. Apologies friend.
Look out around this summer for more of them.
A:AnswerThat's one of the many unsolved mysteries of life. Legend has it that pressing your F5 key repeatedly for weeks will eventually yield the results you want.
