A:Answer Yes, there will be a pre-order.
No date has been set, Walmart was the first to open USA pre-orders a week or so ago, but they did this in error & have since cancelled all the pre-orders.
No announcement has been made about a midnight release. Your best bet is to watch out for pre-orders to open up & act fast.
Even though the Walmart pre-order was a false alarm, they sold out in under 20 minutes.
Although Nintendo has stated they will produce larger quantities this time around, I would expect the supply too be like the NES Classic fiasco.
