Does this Controller have a USB-C end or does it have a normal GameCube end? I want to know because I don’t want to buy a $30 controller I can’t use, without the $20 adapter null

The controller has a normal gamecube connector, so you need the controller adapter that is for the switch or wiiU.

It has a normal GameCube end. So yes you would need the adapter. Same as the wii u one and there is an unofficial one on amazon that works with wii u, switch, and pc.

It does not have a USB-C connector. It has the regular GameCube specific connector. It will connec directly to a GameCube or Wii (older models) consoles. For use with the Wii U or Switch, it requires the GameCube controller adapter. The controller plugs into the adapter and the adapter connects to the Wii U, or Switch using standard USB connections.
