You can check it as an additional piece of luggage but you're not allowed to bring it in the cabin as a carry on. It's TSA compliant as a checked luggage. I travelled to Chicago with mine and I didn't have a problem checking it.

Please try again later.I doubt it, as TSA has restrictions on battery size due to their risk of explosion when punctured (it would have to be a deliberate act with this scooter. It is very well protected). I'd check with TSA's website and even email them. In terms of the length, that would depend on the airline. I carry it in a bag on trains often, with no difficulty. \ I would imagine all electric scooters would be similarly restricted.
