• Not good. Unless you are very light (I'm about 170) and the hill is very slight, expect to slow down significantly or even stop unless you push.

• Going up hills will definitely slow you down, how much depends on your weight and the sloop of your hill. The motor is pretty strong, I think it will handle just about any grade.
